Day One.
Wake up at 4 am for make up session. Yawn. But the result is very good. I almost don't recognize myself!
1st stop: Cathedral Church using wedding gown. A bit hot but thank God it's not raining.
2nd stop: Kota Tua. Oh. So. Damn. HOT. I use my brand new cheongsam and I love the hairstyle.
3rd stop: Lunch. I almost die.
4th stop: Pantai Indah Kapuk. Nice place, and thank you for the wind.
And, we're done. One more day to go.
Day Two.
Today we take indoor photos at Bellarossa, Kemang. Hellow, air conditioner! The place is very nice and it's air-conditioned! Yay.
Then, it's a wrap!
Another thing is I really like the make up, so I decide that I'm going to use her for my big day. Other good thing, she's even cheaper than Sugi.
*i can't wait to see the result

.bridezilla
Well, not that extreme of course. But still, the preparation really took my time though I enjoyed it so much.
1. The. Place.
At first we wanted to use a building to cut cost but all alternatives were booked. So we changed option to hotel and decided to use Hotel Inter-Continental Mid Plaza.
2. The. Wedding. Organizer.
There were some options but then we picked ID & Co. Some of our friends were hiring them and they gave good recommendations.
3. The. Make Up. Artist.
Our first choice was Sugi from Sugi Salon. They gave us one free trial for the make up, so after we used it, we went to Malibu Photo Studio to take some photos. Well, just curious to see how I'd look like in pictures. Turned out, I didn't quite like the result. It made me look like an 80's superstar! Haha. I didn't know what's wrong. The make up? The hair? Or the photo style? So, event hough we already made a down payment, I was still eager to search for other options.
4. The. Wedding. Gown
This was the hardest part for me. My journey: Tina Andrean (too expensive), Sugi (not too lovely), Yohannes Bridal (so so), May May (nice but not too special), Bridal Image (didn't like the fabric), JJ Bride (too hard selling), The Attic (loveee it but I was still open for another options), Sebastian Gunawan (nice but we needed to purchase rather than rented it), and Agnes B (not my kind of dream wedding dress because she added flower paintings on the gown and the gown itself has a color gradation. I'd rather stick to the traditional white, thanks).
Finally, after so many fittings, which I quite enjoyed hehe, we went back to The Attic. There's this one dress that I really liked and thankfully when we're back it's still there.
5. The. MC. It's quite easy because we instantly clicked with our WO's recommendation. He was Leo Oendoen.
6. The. Photographer There were three options. The 1st one had nice photos but not so nice price. So damn expensive. The 2nd one had nice photos but the person was too talkative. So we took the 3rd one: Mimosa.
5. The. Videographer. We chose Metamorphoza because I didn't feel bored watching the samples and the price was reasonable.
6. The. Souvenir. We're going to give a unique calculator with pen.
7. The. Cake. We went to Cherry Red, Honey Green, Timothy dan Pasadena, but finally decided that we're going to use Pasadena. Not just because the owner was my neighbor but also the cake was delicious, price was reasonable and I could give my own design.
8. The. Car. Of course, Blue Bird, where else?
9. The. Entertainment. We hired Naturaleza, and coincidentally, one of the founder was my fiance's school mate. Hopefully they would do their best.
10. The. Decoration. Another three options. The 1st wass not expensive but they couldn't deliver what I had in mind. The 2nd was very expensive though I really really liked the design. So then we chose Elssy Decor, the one that gave us good price and good design :) The theme? Of course fuchsia. But I combined it with bronze and broken white to minimize the strong effect and making it more elegant.

.dream comes true
It's all started with a Chinese New Year's Eve dinner invitation. I met the whole family *panic*. Thankfully everything went well and I came home with smile.
Then, a couple days later they said that they wanted to invite my parents to talk about the date. You know. The. Date. I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
On Sunday, we gathered together for lunch. Thanks again that the whole lunch went well. Then we started to talk about The. Date. After some discussions we decided that Sunday, 27 January 2008 is The. Date.
Honestly, don't even care which date or day they will pick as long as I'm getting married!!!!
*miracles do happen!
