.3 months

Josh is 3 months already. Getting bigger and chubbier. He went to the doctor wearing his cute Mothercare jumper. Cute little elf.

Weight: 6,7kg
Height: 64cm
Head circ': 41cm

But, we didn't go to the usual doctor. Somehow I was still not to comfortable with him. So we went to another one. A female doctor. Very patient. Very friendly. Very detailed. She checked every spot very carefully, not in a rush. Will definitely come back to her for the next visit.

One note: she said that we need to give Josh more tummy time, to make his head stronger.

.a fat week

Last week was full with birthday lunch/dinner.

The first one was at the office, the day after my birthday. I celebrate it with my 2 colleagues who are having their birthdays on 22nd. We ordered Pempek Abing and cake from Dapur Cokelat. But then our colleagues also ordered a cake. And our ex-colleague came and brought another cake. 3 cakse in a day.

Later that night, I had dinner at Loewy with hubby. Place is nice and cozy. These are what we ordered:
1. Fresh Orange Juice
2. Escargot (only 6pcs for IDR40,000. I prefer Praline's)
3. Crab Ravioli (only 3 pcs and could hardly taste the crab)
4. Tenderloin Steak (only 4 small pcs but I have to admit, they're very tender)

Additional order (the portions were very small!)
5. Lobster Bisque (don't like the smell)
6. Half of Mille Feuille (I prefer Koi's)



Don't forget the cake. We had 2 cakes from Boboh Gombong. Another one from hubby's uncle. One ice cream cake from my mom and dad. Can you imagine that? For the whole week I was sure that I would have cake for my dessert.

But the party wasn't over yet. We had lunch on Saturday with friends. Thankfully, they didn't bring any cake.

Then we had family lunch on Sunday at Sun City, Hayam Wuruk. The lunch was great until someone brought another cake...

*pleeeasee no more cake for the time being...

... me :)

Yup, today is my 28th birthday. Also mom-in-law's birthday. Also hubby's boss' birthday. Also hubby's boss' wife's birthday. Also a high school friend's birthday. Also a uni friend's birthday. Well, happy birthday to you all!

This is my first birthday with Josh. Though he couldn't say, "Happy Birthday, Mama!" and send a little prayer for me, but having him is the biggest gift from God. Thank you Lord.

Thank you to hubby, too. You and Josh make my life so special.

No special celebration for today. Just have a dinner with the whole family at home.

.back to reality

Ugh. Menyebalkan. Hari ini udah masuk lagi. Ga berasa yah cuti 3 bulan, kok kayaknya cepet banget hehe. Tadinya gue pikir masih seminggu lagi, tapi setelah dihitung-hitung, eh iya bener hari ini masuknya lagi.

Di kantor sih belum ada kerjaan. I'm updating myself. Ketinggalan banyak banget nih hehe. Yah akhirnya cuma liat-liat hasil kerjaan yang udah jadi sambil mengingat-ingat lagi how to create a good layout hihi. Ya ga segitunya sih, tapi pasti ntar agak kagok deh kalau udah mulai design lagi.

Yang pasti gue kangeeeenn sama Josh. Abis kalau ntar gue pulang, pasti dia udah bobo deh. Jadi ga bisa diajak main. Huhu bakalan jarang ngeliat senyum dan denger suaranya nih.

Hadoh jadi tambah bingung. Mending resign atau part time yah. Benernya company (tepatnya atasan gue langsung sih) baik banget dengan mengerti 'keadaan' gue yang udah joined motherhood right now :) Mereka tau kalau gue kerja pasti pikiran terbagi dua, pastinya mikirin Josh sayang. Jadi mereka nawarin sistem part time. Gue dateng ga harus tiap hari dan juga ga 8am-5pm. Tapi sampai sekarang masih belum ada formal offer-nya.

Yah gue sih tungguin sampai akhir bulan April ini aja. Kalau emang belum ada juga offer-nya atau salary barunya nanti below my expectation, mungkin gue resign aja. Mau resign juga benernya bingung, abis di rumah ga tau mau ngapain. Josh udah dijagain suster. Urusan rumah, di-handle sama mertua yang tinggal di sebelah.

Tapi kalau ga resign, gue takut ketinggalan perkembangan Josh. Mau liat dia pertama kali balik badan, mau liat dia pertama kali angkat kepala dengan tegak, ... pokoknya semua yang pertama, gue mau liat deh tuh. Yah maklum deh, namanya juga ibu baru, semua-semua mau ikutan ngalamin.

Huf moga-moga gue dibukakan jalan yang paling baik. Amin.

Fiuh akhirnya kristik nama Matt jadi juga. FYI, Matt ini anaknya Iin, one of my closest friends. Lahirnya di Phil and since then belum pernah dateng ke Jakarta. Jadi sampai sekarang gue belum sempet kasih kado apa-apa buat little Matt (though not so little anymore now, he's 10 months already). Daripada bingung kasih kado apa, mending bikinin kristik dengan nama Matt. Personal and unique :)

Hihi jangan kaget dulu. Josh belum bisa ngomong kok. Serem bener kalau udah bisa hehe. Tapi dia udah mulai interaktif nih. Udah bisa diajak main, syinangnya. Dia tuh demen banget sama gantungan Mickey Mouse (yang dibawain Anton dari Jepang) yang digantung di crib-nya. Josh yang hobinya digendong, tau-tau betah tuh telentang di crib-nya sambil ngeliatin Mickey dan ketawa-ketawa sendiri hihi. He's so cuteee.

Trus dia suka ngoceh-ngoceh sendiri. Yah, cuma sekedar "oohh", "uuhh", "aahh", dkk gitu sih. Tapi kedengerannya lucu aja, as if dia mau ngajak kita ngobrol atau malah ikutan ngobrol. Josh juga sekarang udah lebih murah senyum. Dikit-dikit senyum dan ketawa. Lucu banget. Gue ga pernah bosen ngeliatin dia ketawa dan ngedenger dia ngoceh.

Sekarang pandangannya juga udah semakin jelas. Kalau lagi digendong suster, terus gue deketin, dia langsung ngelirik. Kalau gue menjauh, dia ngikutin dengan lirikan mautnya hihi. Pokoknya menggoda banget deh :P
